What a great get-together! We’ve just wrapped up the Most Pawsome Business Pet Conference 2024 and we’re hungry for more. So many amazing speakers generously sharing their experiences – the good and the bad. We heard from Mandy who shared her experiences in running a daycare, boarding and grooming business and what it takes to get there.

Layamon from Pets in the City took us through the highs and lows of the last 24 months in getting his business humming. He did such a great job we’ve already had people asking us to make sure he’s on again next year so they can find out what the next part of the story is.

Jules shared some very practical tips on marketing. What works, what doesn’t and why common sense marketing will take you far.

From pen and paper to AI, it’s all systems and processes. Arlene shared how she uses the many tools to keep Waglands at the top of its game.

Amy was due to join us from the United States but unfortunately hit a visa snag at the last minute. While we didn’t get to meet her in person, she joined us for an online session and spoke about the highs and lows of her petcare business and how they’ve got it humming.

Tips on profitability are always needed and Michael gave us some practical tips for increasing revenue, cutting costs and the value of experimentation.

Of course it wouldn’t have been complete without a guest panel. The audience was invited to ask burning questions and everyone was able to chip in with advice. The power of the group mind in action!

Pet grief affects us all and Erica delivered a heart-felt talk on how we can help pet parents and the circle of people that pets touch.

Positive outcomes and effective playgroup management was the topic for the team at Pack Pro. Dan and Mallory presented a very entertaining webinar. It was incredible to see how they’ve created such a well managed business.

And Jeremy closed the conference with a quick overview of pet software JungleChief. His top tip: before you choose software, treat the process like an interview. What will it add to your business?
